Al Civico Cinque is the creation of two architects — mother and daughter — who decided to give the house where they were born a new life.
The idea was simple but ambitious: blend two worlds. The classic, timeless, ancient character of a historic Taormina building with a modern, bright aesthetic designed for sharing. The result is an accommodation that truly feels like home.
Every piece of furniture, every recovered door, every carefully chosen material tells a story of renewal — proof that beauty can come from reinvention.
The open-plan common area includes a cosy reading corner, a billiard table, and a co-working station with free WiFi (100MB) — perfect for digital nomads and remote workers.
Each bedroom is a unique mix of antique and modern elements. All rooms feature a private bathroom with hairdryer and shower, flat screen TV, air conditioning, and heating.
And then there's the terrace — our guests' favourite spot. A panoramic retreat where you can watch the sunset over the sea, sip your morning coffee, or simply breathe in the Taormina air.
